PAS BEKEND | Skietvoorval voor kleuterskool: Ma van kind nege keer geskiet, terwyl haar lyfwag vyf keer geskiet is
Sersant Modiga van Bedfordview SAPD in Johannesburg het aan AfriNUUS bevestig dat twee sake van poging tot moord ondersoek word ná ’n skietery wat vanoggend om 07:45 voor ’n kleuterskool in Bedfordview plaasgevind het.
Volgens Modiga het die voorval in Bedfordview by die Bedfordview Baby & Toddler Centre plaasgevind.
Die slagoffers is na bewering deur hul motorvenster met ’n vuurwapen geskiet.
Daar word beweer dat die slagoffer (ma) met haar wit BMW-sportsnutsvoertuig gery het om haar kind by die baba- en kleutersentrum af te laai.
Sy is deur ‘n private sekuriteitsbeampte begelei met sy voertuig wat in die pad geparkeer was.
Toe sy terugkom na haar motor wat in die parkeerarea was, het sy haar motor aangeskakel en ’n man het uit die bloute aan die bestuurderskant se deur verskyn en deur die venster op haar begin skiet.
Nadat die verdagte weg is, het sy uit die motor geklim en teruggestap na die kantoor van die sentrum.
Intussen het nog ’n verdagte na die sekuriteitsbeampte gegaan en hom ook deur die venster geskiet.
Die verdagtes is onbekend aan die slagoffers en het die toneel verlaat sonder om iets van die toneel af te neem.
Albei slagoffers is na die hospitaal geneem.
’n Ethiopiese burger (die vrou) is nege keer geskiet en is in ’n stabiele toestand. Sy het beserings aan haar regterbo-arm en -skouer en ook in haar regterbors en regteronderarm opgedoen.
Sy het ook beserings aan haar linkerskouer en onderarm en vingers opgedoen. Altesaam nege skote het haar getref.
Die veiligheidsbeampte het beserings aan sy linkerbo-rug sowel as sy onderrug opgedoen. Hy het ook skietwonde aan sy linkerbobeen opgedoen. Hy het 5 skietwonde opgedoen.
Die saak word ondersoek.

Police have opened two cases of attempted murder after two people, a male and a female, were shot and injured in Bedfordview on Tuesday, 21 February 2023, at approximately 07h40.
It is reported that the businesswoman had just dropped her child at creche when she was accosted by the suspect who shot at her while she was still inside the creche yard. The other suspect/s shot the owner of the private security company who had parked his car outside the creche premises.
It is alleged that the owner of the private security company was escorting the businesswoman during the time of the shooting. Both victims were taken to the nearest medical care centre for treatment.
The motive for the shooting cannot be confirmed at this stage.
Police are on a lookout for the suspects and are appealing to anyone who might have information that can help in the investigation or assist in the apprehension of the suspects to please call the nearest police station or crime stop on 08600 10111.
